Planning and Project Management Services Fees

First discussion and initial appraisal including site visit* are given at a flat fee of £1000.00. Subsequent instruction and fee will include an allowance for any amount charged for the first consultation.

£400.00 Plus disbursements

Flat fees are negotiable for most classes of work, see below for examples.

Generally

Planning Pre-Application Advice and arranging and attending on the Local Planning Authority from £2,500.00

Private Householder Residential Planning Applications from £3,500.00

Commercial Planning applications from £5,000.00

Advice on Planning Contravention Notices (PCN) from £2,000

Planning Appeals written representations from £10,000

Planning Appeals, by way of Local Hearings or Public Inquiries from £12,000.00 plus Counsel’s fees (to be paid on instruction) and disbursements

Speculative applications subject to a success fee in addition to above

All reports on Planning matters from £2,500 (including Design and Access Statements).

Attending on and addressing LPA planning committees where not otherwise instructed from £2,000

Flat fees for planning matters cover all advice up to the first determination of the application by the Local Planning Authority. The fees do not include drawings, additional reports such as Highways, Noise, Daylight etc and any planning fees due to the Local Planning Authority, Counsel and others.



None of the above fees include survey fees and or cost of preparing plans, drawings etc.

All flat fees are payable in full on instruction or as otherwise agreed in writing.

All matters relating to Housing Act 2004 including Tribunal cases from £5,000. In all Housing matters were fees are not agreed in advance an hourly rate of £400 will apply.

Formal reports on Housing Act matters from £2,500

Rating Appeals can be undertaken on a contingency fee basis.

Minimum Fee of £1000

Insurance claims recoveries are handled at 15% of total amount claimed and become payable when settlement sum agreed with insurers or their adjusters. Generally we will only accept an instruction where Insurers have already declined cover.

In the event an instruction to act in a claims recovery is terminated, there will be a charge levied based on the general hourly rate of £400 which sum is payable prior to the release of any documents or information.

Hourly rate charge £400 will apply in all matters where a fee has not been agreed in writing.
