Hackney Council issued an Enforcement Notice dated 16 August 2007 effective 27 September 2007.This Notice was issued following the refusal of Hackney Council to grant Planning Permission for the retention of s single storey rear extension. PPMS were instructed to appeal the Enforcement Notice by way of a Public Inquiry Richard Ground counsel of 2-3 Grays Inn Square was instructed to appear for the appellants at the Inquiry.

An Inquiry was held 17 June 2008. The Inspector in her Decision 16 July 2008 allowed the appeal and quashed the Enforcement Notice.
